Harrah's links bad beat jackpots

Harrah's Entertainment Atlantic City has gone live at 8:12 am with the City's first-ever multi-casino Texas Hold'em Poker Room Bad Beat Jackpot initiative, and a starting jackpot of $ 524,045. Poker Room Bad Beat Jackpots at Harrah's Resort, Caesars, Bally's and Showboat will now reflect one "Pooled" jackpot up for grabs.

Jennifer Weissman, Regional Vice President of Marketing for Harrah's Entertainment Atlantic City Operations said in the interview that it is an important day for Atlantic City, and the company is pleased to open Atlantic City's first-ever multi-casino Bad Beat Jackpot payout and hopes that this is a great progressive step forward.

The Bad beat jackpot is progressive and it is gathered by collecting $1 from each pot to replenish the jackpot. Winning jackpot will be divided equally among all players sitting at a Bad Beat eligible table and in all of the Harrah's Total Reward Poker rooms in Atlantic City at the time of the bad beat with the losing hand getting the largest share.

The minimum losing Bad Beat Hand will start at four (4) queens and each week, on Wednesday, the required hand will be lowered by one (1) four of a kind ranking hand until the required hand is four (4) deuces. When the jackpot will be won, hand will revert back to four (4) queens and reset the next Wednesday. For example: if you will win the jackpot on a Monday the 4 Queens would only is valid for 2 days (until Wednesday).

Here is a list of the rewards of the Bad Beat Jackpot:
• 30% of the jackpot will go to the Bad Beat hand (losing player);
• 20% of the jackpot the winner of the hand will get;
• The remaining jackpot will be partitioned between all of the seated players on any Bad Beat jackpot eligible game at all four (4) linked properties. Also a share is attached in addition to the prize. A minimal winning consists of $ 100.00.
