The Dutch Ministry of Justice has released the report of the Commission Jansen, an advisory group assembled on 11 September 2009 about how to change the gambling laws in the Netherlands and to control games online. The last statement says licensing system for poker operators, except sports betting, bingo and casino style games. The Remote Gambling Association that represents the world's largest remote gambling operators says this report is baseless, inadequate a bit and obviously it is linked with changes of this type that are now practicing all over Europe.
Clive Hawkswood, Chief Executive of the RGA considers that such behavior is a manifestation of the unwillingness to take a different tactic of behavior, for example like Denmark, which does not discriminate gambling and believes that everything can be properly adjusted.
The RGA thinks that there is only one reasonable way to achieve the burgeoning remote gambling market and that is careful regulation for poker, sports betting and casino games.
